Someone I know nagged me to post one of my photographs, so I have. Enjoy (or not).

By the way, it's a picture of a street in York, England, called Micklegate. It's not wet, just sunny and the light strikes the cobblestones and makes them look wet.

An Intro?

I have created this blog because I had to. Someone I know created one and posted some lovely drawings, and I had to leave a comment, but Blogger wouldn't let me unless I had a blog of my own. So here I am.

The name comes from a song by celtic punk (I think this is how you'd label them) band The Pogues, of Fairytale of New York fame. As I was trying to find a name for the blog, I just opened my record collection in my music player, and fell on this title, which seemed appropriate for a chatty thing like a blog.

That's all I have to say. I don't know how often I'll be writing.
